I was also upset that the 240SX at the beginning sounded a bit dull and boring compared to ProStreet's 240sx but then I realised if you upgrade the engine it'll sound the same again but due to the engine sounds being muffled it's not quite right. Engine sounds don't sound right and too "muffled" and also sometimes I can barely hear what the characters are saying in the phone. The cars are straight from NFS ProStreet, that's something I learnt from this playthrough, they just changed the license plates - but the thing is, something is wrong with the Audio system in this game. World design of Tri-City bay kinda sucked, it was just a city with mountains/hills in the north Should I mention that the game looks ridiculously bright all the time? my eyes are in relief that I have finished NFS Undercover. It looks so dull and all they did was smudge some vaseline or cream over the game that everything has bloom. even NFS MW, Carbon and ProStreet look better. It looked good to me when it came out but looking at it now. Graphics look super bland, even on max settings. Literally zero sense of speed, 200mph doesn't look that fast, 100mph doesn't look fast either. Slow opponent racers and usually only one opponent is actually good at keeping up with you but most opponents crash into things or cannot turn corners without slamming into the wall at high speed, they also spin you out sometimes too. Huge hit or miss AI, all the cops in this game are blind - heck I didn't even get busted once in my playthrough.
